Labdanum aka Rock Rose oleoresin (Cistus ladanifer) forms the basis of this grounding, deeply restorative blend, reminding us that every experience is a great teacher. Vanilla oleoresin, Vetivert and Ambrette Seed add sensuality and elegance, encouraging self-reliance and self-assurance, evoking the feeling of the Gypsy. Tuberose and Jasmine highlight the importance of being centred and grounded in order to return to a calm and trusting space, where we can dissolve fear and rediscover our truth. These scents gently intermingle with Australian Boronia, whose floral warmth brings calm and serenity.
Gypsy unveils herself in stages and certainly goes the distance, lingering on the skin for hours to come. Labdanum and Vetivert offer solid grounding and depth, with notes reminiscent of burnt caramel, leather, smoke and whiskey. Ambrette, Tuberose and Jasmine create a musky bouquet at the heart as the scent gently unfolds. Vanilla weaves her magic throughout, adding her familiar sweetness to the depth and warmth characteristic of Gypsy, holding it all together in a long-lasting embrace. The subtle presence of Boronia’s warm, berry and floral notes finish the blend beautifully, making this a unique perfume not to be forgotten.
Each Gypsy bottle contains small pieces of Tiger’s Eye and a crystal roller-ball applicator to support the qualities of Trust, Empowerment and Sensuality that have been intended for this blend.

I love all these anointing oils for different activities, meditation ritual and everyday wear. This one has definite smoky, earthy notes with soft hints of florals that unfolds throughout the day, it creates a really unique scent. 🌺

I wear “Gypsy” by Presence of Gaia. This scent is velvety deep and earthy. It brings you back to your feet, grounds, tells you the stories of ancestors and their majestic lives millions of years ago when the earth belonged to the creatures more advanced than us on all levels: technological, spiritual and balancing these two in the most profound way; the creatures, who were not afraid to touch the soil with their bare hands and put the seeds in it to grow for their children.
The oil tells you about the woods, about the waters that were crystal clear in the falling down springs and the skies that were of a darker blue hue at those times. The aromatic oil contains Rock Rose (Cistus ladanifer, Vanilla (Vanilla planifolia), Vetivert (Vetiveria zizanoides) and Ambrette Musk Mallow seed (Hibiscus abelmoschus).
The scent is also about travelling, moving from one space to another, hunting the pristine grounds where the deer horns grow tall and wide almost touching the stars, and where the wolves love their cubs more than life. I have a deep sensual feeling when I wear Gypsy. It is so organic and it reminds me of deep brown colour of bitter sweet cacao that gives you energy and nurtures you as plants and seeds know more about YOU than YOU yourself. They never go to school to learn who they are. When the seeds fall off the tree, they already know what to do and who they are.
Scents of Tuberose (Polianthes tuberosa) and Jasmine (Jasminum grandiflorum) and Australian Boronia (Boronia megastigma) are heard. It has very complex scent and makes me feel warm, & just as described, I get feeling empowered and confident!
