Zesty notes of Sweet Basil, Lemon Myrtle and Lime evoke the freshness of summer, met in the middle by the warm spices of Tasmanian Native Pepper (Tasmannia lanceolata) and Cinnamon Bark, which add complexity and intrigue. This blend is supported by the calming forest scents of Himalayan Cedarwood and Australian Rosewood (Dysoxylum fraserianum), peeling back to reveal mystical Australian Sandalwood (Santalum spicatum). Ethically-sourced pieces of West Australian Sandalwood are immersed in the oils and infused for a moon cycle.
Sweet Basil, Lemon Myrtle and Lime bring a combined sense of balance, clarity and calm; they clear heated emotions and encourage self-expression, perspective and leadership. With its tangy sweetness, Tasmanian Native Pepper brings us into a place of love and acceptance, releasing congestion and self-blame, and reminding us to be accountable for our thoughts, feelings, actions and words. Cinnamon and Australian Rosewood holds us gently as we bring ourselves into the present moment, into a space of quiet surrender, and allow for the wise counsel of Cedarwood and Sandalwood to tap into our inner courage from a grounded and safe place.
This Anointing Oil is perfect for helping you to recognise your unlimited potential with the help of Green Aventurine, the crystal of Opportunity and the Unlimited Self. This blend has been powered with the intention of offering assistance through a difficult life phase or in resolving an issue through Clarity, Courage and Acceptance.

I am applying and wearing Bohemian aromatic oil by Presence of Gaia today.
I bought all six varieties and I love this brand very much! Very talented souls create it and they work on each fragrance for weeks. It’s a laborious process as the perfume should be balanced, rare, healing and have certain spiritual applications. You add one extra drop and the whole concoction will be destroyed. You do not add extra ingredient and it’s destroyed again. In such process you should be guided by the higher powers or simply be talented by our words as talent is god’s gift.
The perfume consists of Sweet Basil, Lemon Myrtle and Lime that sound very grassy and warm. I tried to visualise what I see when I smell it... I could see endless meadows of tall European grass, flowering, mixed with field flowers full of summer spicy freshness. Sweet, herbaceous aroma has strong notes of anise and light notes of licorice, floral and airy at the same time and very uplifting. It is vibrant and lemony or limie.
My imaginary grass field was from no where big it was rather a combination of all of them I experienced in my life: Black Sea Caucasus grasses when you go on your trip to the mountain waterfalls passing by trees of wild yellow honey plums, blackberry bushes full of huge berries and local grape vine fields; then rye fields on our way to the Istra river at the start of autumn when the grains are almost ready, heavy but not picked up yet; grasses with mixed rich blue corn flowers and camomiles, closer to the evening when we lost, tried to find our way to the main road home with my dad riding bikes and pushing them through the tangled flowers... all of these fields suddenly came together in one tiny bottle of bohemian, zesty and invigorating, drawing painting after painting in my mind... I stoped counting them after number three...
The oil is quite energising. Tasmanian Native Pepper (Tasmannia lanceolata) added that unique woody notes with a hint of cinnamon and cloves - just like my morning coffee and Cinnamon Bark smell added that strengthening sensation in my body with all its complexity creating an additional sensation of intrigue - just like our bike wheels tangled in long grasses. The blend also contains Himalayan Cedarwood with its honey-like and camphorous , rather smoothing and grounding vibes and Australian Rosewood (Dysoxylum fraserianum) with its “rosy” long lasting qualities... plus Australian Sandalwood (Santalum spicatum) smoothing and calming all above mentioned notes with its balsamic scent.
Honestly, I’m not a match to this particular aroma as it’s way too complex for my nature. I’d prefer rather simple bouquet I think but it’s nice!
The aroma calls for action in our self-discovery journey. The aroma is green and yellow in its core and it’s adventurous. Love yourself. I’m thinking Presence of Gaia brand that gave me this opportunity to review their amazing oils, created by genius minds! Wishing them all the best on their journey of research pleasing so many people who use their services and products. I’ll be publishing my last post on the whole collection after and will be waiting for the new blends.
